We all need to have a strong and functioning core and skeleton. We need to build healthy bones from an early age to develop a solid supporting structure. Our mission is to maintain strong bones throughout our lives. Unfortunately, some people are more likely than others to lose bone mass and develop weak bones and even osteoporosis. Bone mass loss doesn’t happen over night. It is a long process and usually begins without overt symptoms. Prevention is key to general bone health. Are you at risk? What we can do for our bones? - these are just some of the issues that will be discussed in this lecture. Scientific research is suggesting that a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet will help build and maintain strong bones. Furthermore, a bone health safeguards should be part of our everyday lives.
