As we have previously published, the library "Stevan Jorgović” is the recipient of funds won in a competition by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia – Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the region.

In order to preserve the Serbian language, history, science and culture, we continue to work on the renewal of the Serbian library in Montreal. In order to successfully achieve our goal, we are acquiring books that will help:

- children learning the Serbian language;

- users who speak Serbian, but who want to read in their native language, to improve their knowledge;

- users who are interested in our language and culture but do not speak Serbian.
