We are pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia (The Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region) will financially support the project “Offshoots of the first 70 years - a cultural manifestation of Serbs in Montreal” in the amount of 300,000 dinars ($3,770).

The event will mark the 70^th anniversary of the church-school congregation “Holy Trinity” from Montreal and will take place in the Fall of 2024. In a specific environment where the two official languages are French and English in the province of Quebec, in Canada, the establishment of a parish and church-school municipality in Montreal in 1954 was of exceptional importance for the preservation of the faith, language and culture of our people.

The main goal of this celebration is to promote Serbian culture and tradition while honoring those who have contributed to fostering faith, language, culture, and customs in the Serbian community in Montreal for 70 years and raising new generations on those foundations.  As a part of this celebration, we will organize a trilingual exhibition about eminent Serbs under the name "The Treasury of Eminent Serbs" which our children prepared during the Language Learning project.
